The ASHEFAMU portal was developed for the registration of Healthcare facilities operating within Anambra in accordance with the Health Reform Law of Anambra State.
ASHEFAMU was established with the mandate to oversee the registration and accreditation of both private and public health facilities across Anambra State, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting excellence in healthcare services.
A key responsibility of ASHEFAMU is the regulation of the private health facilities, a major provider of healthcare services to over 60% of the population of Anambra State.
Operators of Healthcare facilites in Anambra state are by law required to register to operate their facilities every year.
